Croatia sang in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 about a "little, evil psychopath" and tore up the audience: what the song is about. Video.

On May 9, Croatia's representatives at Eurovision Song Contest 2023, the rock band Let 3, known for their obscene and sometimes extremely vulgar tracks, performed in the first semi-final at number seven. The band presented their track called Mama šč! The song, according to its authors, satirises Russian aggression against Ukraine.

The Croatian competition song mocks dictatorship in general, the leaders' thirst for power and control. However, the track contains references to specific dictators - Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko. For example, the song contains the line "Mommy bought the tractor". The participants made this message because of the tractor that the Belarusian self-proclaimed president presented to the 70th anniversary of the main war criminal of the 21st century.

The track also contains the line "Little, evil psychopath", which is an obvious description of the same Putin.

"Our only wish is for the war to end as soon as possible and for peace and love to prevail," Let 3 commented on the lyrics of their song.
