Congratulations from AFU: who was Polina Menshikh and how the Russian actress ended up in Donbas

The Ukrainian military eliminated another Putinist, choreographer and theater actress Polina Menshikh. The Russian woman came to the village of Kumachove, Starobeshivskyi district, Donetsk region, to congratulate the occupiers on the Day of the Russian Missile Forces and Artillery, which the aggressor country celebrates on November 19.

AFU offered a firework show, attacking a house of culture where a concert for Russian marines was taking place. At that time, Menshikh was performing on stage. The moment was captured on video: it shows the cheering patriot performing in front of the invaders, but suddenly there is an explosion and the lights go out. It is ironic that before that, the artist sang the phrase "envy us".

According to the propaganda media, the "volunteer" was an ethnic dance teacher, heading a theater studio. She also directed one of the performances. On her social media page, she actively talked about her love for Soviet films and Russian culture.

Menshikh wrote that her grandfather, an officer, was partly responsible for her upbringing, so "this influenced her strange tastes as for a young lady." "As a six-year-old girl, I loved watching the program 'I Serve the Soviet Union' with my grandfather and then discussing it," she writes.

Polina Menshikh regularly traveled to the enemy-occupied Donbas and supported Russian soldiers at the front. Her profession as an actress resulted in a cruel joke: she celebrated the day of rocket troops and artillery perfectly, getting into the role. However, every performance comes to an end, especially for the occupiers.
