The day before, Ireland chose the singer who will represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Sweden. It was Country Ray Robinson, known as Bambie Thug. She will perform her song Doomsday Blue, which has already been downloaded 50 thousand times in 10 hours.

Bambie Thug was born into a Swedish family and has three sisters. They grew up in the town of Macroom, County Cork, and were diagnosed with ADHD – attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. In her spare time, Robinson sometimes works as an entertainer at events for children with special needs.

She identifies herself as a non-binary person. The star has repeatedly spoken about her affiliation with the LGBTQ+ community.

Artsitka practices witchcraft, including sign magic and manifestation. She said that during her menstruation she practiced blood magic, claiming that it was "very good for the skin." Witchcraft also influenced the singer's music. Spells and curses can be heard in some of her songs.

Discussing the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, the artist called for a boycott of Israel. According to the star, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict can be compared to the war in Ukraine.

"When the events with Ukraine were happening, Russia was not allowed to enter, so I don't think there should be one rule for some and another for others," the singer said, thus comparing Palestine to Ukraine.
