Canceled the performance: MELOVIN's ward told for the first time why the singer punished her

Young Ukrainian singer Oleksandra Klymenko, who chose the stage name iSKra, has revealed for the first time why she was punished by her mentor Melovin (real name Kostiantyn Bocharov). According to the artist, the 27-year-old celebrity canceled one of her performances because she was late for rehearsal.

The girl told about it in an interview on the YouTube channel "Sukhanov Speaks." The duo was supposed to perform on the stage of the YUNA music award, but this did not happen because Melovin did not allow them to perform without proper preparation.

"I'm still ashamed. I wrote to Melovin about it. I apologized for causing inconvenience. I understand that they might have thought I had a star disease and was overwhelmed. But my circumstances were such. I work as a masseuse. And that day was a working day. I took off work just for this rehearsal. I warned them that I might be late," says Oleksandra Klymenko.

According to iSKra, she was unable to get to the rehearsal on time because of traffic jams in Kyiv. She recalled that the taxi driver tried to do everything he could to get her to her destination on time. The singer jokingly noted that it seemed to her that the driver had violated all possible traffic rules.

"I was in a great hurry to get to the rehearsal because I had been following this award all my childhood. When I was told that we were going to perform there, I thought: "Wow. You mean I'll be standing on the YUNA stage?" But then I found out that I wouldn't be singing," she said.

In addition, iSKra recalled that for some time she did not tell even the closest people about the unfortunate incident, as she thought she could fix it. Unfortunately, however, this did not happen.

"When I told my mom, I just cried for two days. But then I thought: "So we'll work so that next year I will go on this stage by myself and receive an award for my song," iSKra said.
