Bookmakers updated their Eurovision 2023 predictions after the first semi-final: Ukraine is on the new line

On Tuesday, May 9, Liverpool hosted the first semi-final of Eurovision 2023, in which 15 performers took part. But only 10 of them made it to the final, where they will fight for victory. Bookmakers have no doubt that the crystal microphone this year will go to the representative of Sweden Loreen, whose position in the bookmakers' rating has only strengthened after the first semi-final. However, there are some changes in the list.

Thus, Ukraine, or rather the duet TVORCHI to represent it, again moved to a new position. This time, however, the news for Ukrainians is good - we climbed from fourth place to third. The updated list is available on the Eurovision World website.

Sweden remains in first place in the ranking of bookmakers, as we have already noted - Loreen with the song Tattoo. Previously the odds on her victory were 42%, but after her performance in the first semi-finals, the ratio grew to 44%. We should remind that Loreen already participated in Eurovision in 2012 and won then, and her contest song Euphoria is still considered one of the most popular hits in the history of the contest.

The second place is given to the epathetic representative of Finland Käärijä and his crazy track Cha Cha Cha. On the victory of the contestant, they bet 23%. The figure, by the way, after the performance of the Finn in the first semi-finals has fallen slightly. Earlier the ratio was slightly higher - 24%.

Ukraine is back in third place, from which it was "moved" by France the other day. Thus, the duo TVORCHI is predicted to win with a probability of 7%. Remember, as last year's winners, we will not participate in the semifinals, and we will automatically get to the finals. Already on May, 13, the Ukrainian musicians will present their number for the song dedicated to the indestructible defenders of Azovstal - Heart of Steel.

And now France, as you might have guessed, takes the fourth line. This year it will be represented by the singer La Zarra with the song Évidemment. If previously it was 8% on her victory, now it's 6.

Blanca Paloma from Spain who is going to conquer Europe with the song EAEA closes the top five. Bookmakers give the girl 4%.
