Bookmakers update bets on Eurovision 2024: Ukraine's chances of winning have increased, but the leader is still different. Table
Ukraine continues to hold the second position in the bookmakers' ranking of the likely winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. However, the coefficient with which analysts predict us to win the crystal microphone has finally started to rise, so there is every chance of becoming a leader again. For now, the first place is held by Croatia, which will be represented at the song contest by Baby Lasagna.
Until recently, bookmakers offered 13% odds on alyona alyona and Jerry Heil to win. This coefficient held from March 9 to March 12 inclusive. Now it has increased to 14%. The current rating can be tracked on the Eurovision World website.
Meanwhile, the outrageous representative of Croatia, who has already become a favorite among Euro fans around the world with his incendiary contest track Rim Tim Tagi Dim, according to bookmakers, can win the crystal microphone with a 15% probability. It is worth noting that Baby Lasagna's video from the National Selection has already garnered over 2.6 million views on the official Eurovision channel.
Ukrainian singers alyona alyona and Jerry Heil, who will represent our country with the song Teresa & Maria, as we have already noted, still hold the second place in the ranking, although they were confidently in the first place before the announcement of the Croatian representative. Their video on the official channel of the international competition is also very popular among viewers, having collected more than 3.5 million views so far.
Next on the list is Italy. The country will be represented by singer Angelina Mango with her rhythmic track La Noia. Analysts give her a 9% chance of winning.
The top five also includes Switzerland, which will be represented by Nemo with the song The Code, and the Netherlands, which will be represented by Joost Klein with the track Europapa. Their odds are 8% and 5%, respectively.
The rest of the top 10 was formed as follows: Belgium (5%), Israel (4%), Sweden (4%), France (3%), and Greece (3%).
Earlier, OBOZ.UA reported that for the first time in many years, significant changes have taken place in the voting for the participants of the Eurovision Song Contest. From now on, there will be much more time to cast your vote. In addition, the live performances of the host country and the Big Five founding countries will take place in the semifinals instead of the final, which was not the case before.
