Bookmakers dramatically change bets before the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 final
There are only a few hours left until the grand final of Eurovision 2023, which is being held in Liverpool, UK, on behalf of Ukraine, which means that bookmakers have made up their minds. Forecasts before the decisive battle have changed dramatically. For example, France and Spain left the top five and were replaced by Israel and Norway.
But the top three remained unchanged. Ukraine is still predicted to take third place. The bookmaker rating is available on the official Eurovision World website.
Sweden - Loreen with the song Tattoo - remains in first place. Analysts keep raising the odds on her victory. Before the first semi-final, it was 42%, after - 44%, and now, before the final, the odds have risen to 53%! We would like to remind you that Loreen has already participated in Eurovision 2012 and won, and her entry song Euphoria is still considered one of the most popular hits in the contest's history.
Silver is predicted for the outrageous Finnish representative Käärijä and his crazy track Cha Cha Cha. The Finnish rapper has 22% of the odds on winning.
Next on the list is Ukraine, or rather its representatives TVORCHI with their powerful song Heart of steеl. Bookmakers estimate the probability of their victory at a modest but reliable 6%.
But then there were changes. Previously, France held the fourth position. Moreover, the other day it moved up to third place and "pushed" Ukraine, but now the French singer La Zarra has dropped to sixth place, and Israeli Noa Kirel has taken fourth place with her incendiary track Unicorn. Her coefficient of victory is 4%.
Earlier, Spain closed the top five, but before the final, bookmakers dropped it to seventh place, while Norway - Alessandra with its powerful track Queen of Kings - was placed in the top 5.
