Black and white photo of Kate Middleton and Prince William alarmed fans of the royal family

On the eve of the 13th wedding anniversary of the British Dukes of Wales, Prince William and Kate Middleton, Kensington Palace published an archival photo in black and white. Such a dramatic filter confused British citizens.

Some even thought that the dukes were hinting at tragic events. Such comments appeared on Instagram.

In the picture, William and Kate pose in their wedding outfits, in which they legalized their relationship 13 years ago. The portrait of the dukes was made in black and white, which is not often seen in the profile of Kensington Palace.

Because of this, some users thought that the couple had hinted at the death of one of their family members and wrote: "RIP" (Rest in peace).

The comment was liked by dozens of people, and alarmed comments appeared below it. Of course, there was no drama behind the scenes.

If you recall, the Dukes have published black-and-white photos several times recently. In particular, one of them was used for a Christmas card, and another for a portrait of Kate and William's three children, George, Louis, and Charlotte.
