"Beverly Hills Cop" actor John Ashton has died: he was battling a terrible disease
American actor John Ashton, who played the role of Detective Taggert in the movie "Beverly Hills Cop", died September 26 at the age of 76. He had been battling a terrible disease - cancer - for some time.
