Anatolich recalled how Yanukovych's family used to celebrate his birthday
Ukrainian TV host and showman Anatolii Anatolich told how he used to host holidays for members of the propagandist Party of Regions. He recalled the story of how in 2012 he attended the birthday party of Viktor Yanukovych Jr. where there were many drunk people.
The showman admitted in an interview with Slava Demin that he did not know in advance who he was supposed to host the party for, and was told who the birthday boy would be only at the door of the establishment. Moreover, he was asked not to prepare a scenario for the birthday party, because there was no point.
"I once hosted a birthday party for the younger Yanukovych. It was 2012. There was a funny story there – there were events when you didn't know who you were hosting," Anatolii Anatolich recalled. "You didn't have to prepare for those people. You just had to give the floor to this person, that person... At that time, there was no such thing (the hosts were not joking – Ed.)."
That was the first time the host saw Mezhyhiria, but he didn't know what it was. According to Anatolii, he first thought that the area was a beautiful park in Donetsk.
"It was funny because his wife gave him a video of his son singing a song in Russian. And he's walking in some park. And I think such a park is beautiful, probably in Donetsk. And then, when the first shots from Mezhyhiria appeared, I realized that it was filmed in Mezhyhiria at my grandfather's place," he admitted.
Anatoliy also recalled how this "feast for the whole world" ended. First of all, all the guests were drunk. Secondly, karaoke was the main entertainment that night.
"Artists were supposed to perform there, but at some point, the organizer said that all the artists were canceled, and they (the guests. – Ed.) would sing karaoke. I had a job there – to say two words. They sang karaoke, and all the artists got paid and went home," the host added.
