An insider has revealed the real reason why Trump has backed down from his threat to deport Prince Harry from the United States

Insiders have revealed the real reason why US President Donald Trump no longer plans to expel Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle from America. It's all because of the King of Great Britain and Prince Harry's father, Charles III.

Last week, the president said he would not seek to deport the duke amid an ongoing lawsuit over his immigration status, although he had previously suggested he might. Instead, the president's "warm relationship" with King Charles III is, according to a Sun insider, the real reason he rejected calls for Harry's deportation.

Trump is reportedly aware of the grief this will cause the royal family, and so out of respect, he does not want to take any action. According to an insider, King Charles III is in regular contact with the US president, and the monarch writes many letters to America. He sent Trump a message of support after he survived an assassination attempt last September, and then congratulations the day before his inauguration on January 20 this year.

And when King Charles announced his cancer diagnosis early last year, Trump said he was sending prayers for a speedy recovery to someone he knows "well." The two have met twice before and allegedly got along well, despite differing views on several global issues, including climate change.

"The president left saying he was very pleased to meet the king, and they stayed in touch for quite some time afterward," a source told the Daily Mail.

This is not the first time Trump has criticized Meghan, who has openly endorsed Biden and in a 2016 interview called the Republican "divisive and a misogynist." At the time, Trump said he was "not a fan" of Meghan, claiming that "Harry is being pushed around" and "led by the nose."

Meanwhile, Trump claimed that he was Queen Elizabeth II's "favorite president," adding, "I had a great relationship with the Queen. She liked me and I liked her."

Last November, it became known that Prince Harry's immigration status was the subject of a lawsuit in Washington. The US Migration Service suggests that the Duke may have deliberately concealed the fact that he had episodes of illegal drug use in the past. According to American migration laws, concealing such information automatically deprives an applicant of the right to obtain a US visa.
