Alkhim was accused of mocking the Christmas carol "Shchedryk": what happened and why Ukrainians are furious with the scandalous blogger

Alkhim has failed to please her subscribers again

Ukrainian blogger Anna Alkhim has once again gotten into a scandal because of the music she listens to and promotes among her followers. This time, the influencer's fans did not like the track with elements of the legendary "Shchedryk" by Mykola Leontovych and Russian-language rap.

Alkhim's video for this song was called a mockery of the iconic composition. Under the blogger's post and in Telegram channels, users express their dissatisfaction.

The author of this track is a Russian-speaking Ukrainian Mykola Zalipukha from Dnipro. He is in close communication with Alkhin, and in this particular video, the Ukrainian called the author of the song "mine".

Zalipukha premiered "Generous Evening" on December 8 this year on his Telegram channel. It contains a fragment and melody from "Shchedryk," as well as verses from the artist.

Zalipukha decided to dilute the world-famous holiday song with obscene raps about sex, entertainment and banditry.

"Generous evening – generously punching you in the liver," says the line that refers to the title.

The song did not become widely known because it did not receive a premiere on streaming services, but Alchem decided to remedy this situation and played it to a 740,000 audience that did not like Zalipukha's work.

"Nothing is sacred," "People, think with your brains, watch how you support and whom you support," "This is a caroling song. How much more mud will be poured?" "The magic of Christmas has turned into a hateful mess," some messages read. The blogger sent her haters three letters.

By the way, not long ago in an interview with Oleksandr Voloshyn, Zalipukha was surprised that "in 9 out of 10 cases, Kyiv residents listen to grunge Russian songs in their cars." The singer himself stated that he only plays tracks that he downloaded a long time ago, and that he doesn't follow the Russian music market at all. In the interview, the artist spoke Ukrainian, but in his off-screen life and blog he speaks Russian.
