Actress and traitor Halyna Bezruk, who lives in Moscow, veiledly wished Ukraine peace

Bezruk named her "only wish"

The star of such Ukrainian TV series as "Ostanniy Moskal" (The Last Muscovite), "Budynochok Na Schastya" (House of Happiness) and "Sluha Narodu" (Servant of the People), Kramatorsk-born actress Halyna Bezruk spoke about peace on the occasion of the New Year's Eve. The traitor said that this was her "only wish."

Bezruk celebrated the New Year in the company of her family near a beautifully decorated Christmas tree with a glass of champagne, while many Ukrainians whose families were separated by the war were hiding in basements because of another attack by Russian drones. A post summarizing the results of 2023 appeared on the Instagram account of the actress.

Bezruk thanked everyone for "all the good things". She said she wished she could erase all negative emotions and experiences from her memory.

"Goodbye, my 2023. Perhaps, only the past year can compete with you in terms of the number of the most polarizing emotions and events. But you still have the upper hand... I raise my glass to my closest and dearest people! For the love and warmth that we have given each other all year and, I am sure, will continue to give in the next year," the Ukrainian native, who spent 12 months in Moscow entertaining Russians, said.

She also admitted that she feels happy because she spent a lot of time with her family and devoted her free time to herself.

In the end, the artist decided to wish peace to Ukraine in a veiled way to avoid repression in Russia.

"I only dream of one thing: that the world (the words 'world' and 'peace' are spelled the same in Russian) would remember why it is called that! And stop going crazy," Bezruk wrote.
