"A huge victory": Jolie and Brad Pitt managed to "make up" and resolve controversial issues after 7 years of scandals
Seven years of litigation between ex-spouses Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are over, according to media reports. According to journalists, the actor "won", and his ex gave in to avoid going bankrupt.
The former lovers shared custody of their children, three of whom were adopted, and a winery. In Touch Weekly wrote about the details of the "reconciliation" (scroll to the bottom of the page to see the photo).
As you know, Pitt had previously sued Jolie. The film star accused his ex-girlfriend of secretly selling her share of a joint French estate and winery to Russian billionaire Yuri Shefler.
Jolie received about $164 million (4.7 billion hryvnias) for this, the media reported. However, the actor managed to settle the matter.
Jolie agreed to mediate to settle a lawsuit in which Brad accused her of selling her part of the business out of "revenge".
"They've spent so much money on these court battles, including the custody battle, and Angie could have ended up going broke, so it would have been wise to cut her losses. This is a huge win for Brad," said an anonymous insider.
The relationship between the most beautiful couple in Hollywood ended in 2016 after a fight on a plane. In a short interview, the movie star allegedly told law enforcement that her husband shouted at her, grabbed her head, shook her, pushed her into the bathroom wall, and punched the ceiling of the plane several times. The incident occurred on the way from France to Los Angeles during a 90-minute flight in a private jet.
