67-year-old Stephen Fry showed up in the arms of his husband, who is 30 years younger than him. A rare photo
The famous British actor and comedian Stephen Fry showed a rare photo with his husband Elliott Spencer, who is almost 30 years younger than him. The 67-year-old celebrity does not often bring his relationship to the public eye.
The actor posted a picture of them together on Instagram on the occasion of their 10th wedding anniversary. In the photo, the smiling couple poses in suits and shows off their wedding rings.
"Ten happy years since our wedding day," Fry wrote, "I'm a lucky man.
Fans congratulated the couple on their anniversary and wished them happiness in their personal lives:
- "Happy anniversary, Stephen and Elliott!"
- "I'm so happy for you."
- "Congratulations! Happy anniversary."
- "Congratulations to you both. What a great couple."
Stephen and Elliot met in 2014. At first, no one knew the name of the actor's mystery man, so journalists called him "Mr. E." They got married in January 2015, tying the knot 10 days after they announced their engagement.
Fry recently admitted that he does not want to live to be a hundred years old, as it would mean loneliness, because he would no longer have anyone close to him.
"Personally, I am not interested in my longevity. Like most people, I'm interested in the idea of an old age that is painless and without too much loss of cognitive function. But I'm not the type of person who wants to live longer than my friends," he admitted in the Brave New World podcast. "If everyone-my family and friends-lived to be 120, then maybe I would be quite happy to cross the 100-year mark.
