"This is Russia's internal affair": Iran has made it clear that it will not interfere in the conflict between Prigozhin and Putin

The Iranian authorities, key suppliers of combat drones to the occupying army against Ukraine, have stated that they will not interfere in the events in Russia, which are regarded as a military coup d'état. Official Tehran adheres to the principles of the rule of law and considers the unrest in Russia to be a problem of the Russian Federation itself.
This was announced by Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani, Iranian media reported. Thus, Moscow failed to gain support against the uprising of its main partner.
"Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani called the incident in Russia an internal affair of that country and added that Iran supports the rule of law in the Russian Federation," the journalists quoted the diplomat as saying.
It should be noted that Iran is not the only country that has not taken a clear position in assisting President Putin. During a telephone conversation with the leader of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Kremlin dictator heard a position similar to that of Iran: "This is an internal conflict in Russia, and Kazakhstan will not interfere."
Earlier, OBOZREVATEL reported that the Russian media had listed Turkish leader Erdogan as Putin's ally amid the rebellion of Prigozhin and his Wagnerians. Ankara allegedly condemns the actions against the official Russian authorities and therefore "extended a helping hand".
This is confirmed by the fact that the Belarusian dictator Lukashenko, taking advantage of the general commotion, has rushed to Turkey, where he presumably intends to wait out the most uncertain times. Before leaving the country, he called the Kremlin to get information about the coup.
