"They got it from us": Trump says Russia stole hypersonic missile project from US
U.S. President Donald Trump has accused Russia of stealing the U.S. hypersonic rocket project. This allegedly happened during the presidency of Democrat Barack Obama.
Trump said this in an interview with Fox News. At the same time, he could not resist another attack on his predecessor, Joe Biden, under whom, according to the new head of state, the Russians "probably stole a lot, too."
During the interview, Trump said that Russia had stolen the hypersonic missile project from the United States.
"Russia stole the project, they got it from us. Some bad person gave them the project... They stole it during the Obama administration, not Biden. Although they probably stole a lot from Biden as well, we'll hear about that," he said.
At the same time, Trump said that the United States is working on missiles that are "even one step better" and that they will allegedly be launched "soon enough."
To recap, in the same interview, Trump said he wanted to resume a dialog with Kim Jong Un. The North Korean dictator, in his opinion, is a "smart guy." Trump probably sees evidence of this "intelligence" in the fact that he was "liked" by Kim Jong-un when he was the first president of the United States and that they "got along well."
