Scholz to visit Washington to discuss aid to Ukraine
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will meet with U.S. President Joe Biden in Washington to discuss aid to Ukraine. The German politician's visit to the United States will take place in the first half of February.
Bloomberg reports this, citing its anonymous sources. The publication adds that Scholz's and Biden's officials have not yet commented on the planned meeting.
It is known that the leaders plan to enlist each other's support to provide additional military assistance to Ukraine. The bilateral meeting will take place at the White House in the second week of February. The talks will be officially announced after the parties agree on the details of the meeting.
