France condemns the new strikes by Russia in the strongest terms. At the same time, the French Foreign Ministry is convinced that Russia deliberately shelled Uman and Dnipro.

This is reported by the French edition of France Diplomatie. These attacks on the civilian population and infrastructure of Ukraine constitute war crimes and must be punished.

France calls on Russia to immediately cease all violations of international law and respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. France also supports the OSCE's genuine efforts to monitor the situation and ensure security in the country. It is ready to work with partners in the EU and other international organisations to take the necessary measures in response to Russia's aggressive actions in Ukraine.

According to the publication, the Russian occupiers have again struck residential areas, resulting in civilian casualties, including children. Such attacks on the civilian population and infrastructure of Ukraine demonstrate Russia's persistent desire to continue escalating the war.

As previously stated by Catherine Colonna, these attacks on Ukrainian civilians and infrastructure constitute war crimes and must be punished. France reaffirms its support to the Ukrainian courts and the International Criminal Court in the fight for justice and the sanctity of international law. In addition, France will continue to provide humanitarian and military assistance to strengthen Ukraine's security and protect its territorial integrity.
