A shot from the place where Robert Fico was assassinated was posted online

On Wednesday, May 15, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico was wounded in a shooting that occurred after a meeting of the country's Cabinet of Ministers. The incident took place in the town of Handlova, about 150 kilometers northeast of Bratislava. The wounded prime minister was taken by helicopter to the capital.

Photos and videos from the scene of the assassination attempt were posted online. The media also published a video shot at the very moment of the assassination attempt.

According to a Slovak TV channel, 59-year-old Fico was shot in the stomach after being shot four times near the city's House of Culture.

Robert Fico, who was wounded, was rushed to a local hospital.
