President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their professional holiday. The head of state also honored the memory of the Heroes who gave their lives in the fight for Ukraine.
The President's address was posted on his Telegram channel.
"Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Day of the strong. Day of the brave. The day of the unbreakable. Men. Women, Warriors, Heroes! All those who continue to defend the state. All those who gave their own lives in order not to give up Ukraine," Zelensky said as he walked through the streets of morning Kyiv to the Wall of Memory near St. Michael's Golden-Domed Cathedral.
