Ukrainian Navy explains whether Russian Ivanovets missile boat can be restored

Ukraine's Navy says whether the occupiers will be able to restore Ivanivets boat

It will be very difficult for the Russian occupiers to restore the Ivanivets missile boat, which was destroyed in Crimea as a result of a special operation by the DIU on the night of February 1. These units have long been out of production, and the aggressor's Black Sea Fleet had three boats of this design in total.

This was stated by Dmytro Pletenchuk, a spokesman for the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Channel 24 reports. According to him, Russia most likely no longer has the appropriate spare parts for such a boat.

The Navy spokesman believes that the occupiers will raise the Ivanivets from the bottom but it is too early to talk about its restoration.

He said that this boat is considered a serious combat unit. It was designed to destroy enemy surface targets and had missiles with a range of up to 130 km.
