Ukrainian air force shot down one guided missile and 12 UAVs of different types overnight
On the night of July 27, Russia again attacked Ukraine with a guided missile and 4 Shahed-type kamikaze drones. The enemy also launched other types of drones.
Air defense forces shot down all enemy air targets during the air battle. This was reported by the Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk.

According to him, on the night of July 27, 2024, the enemy attacked Ukraine with an X-59/X-69 guided missile from the airspace of the temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region and four Shahed strike UAVs from the Russian city of Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
"All targets were shot down by the Ukrainian Defense Forces in Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Kharkiv and Kyiv regions," noted Oleshchuk.
In addition, from the beginning of yesterday until the publication of the report at 09:37, air defense forces destroyed eight more air targets in the southern and northeastern directions: 4 Supercam reconnaissance UAVs, 1 Forpost strike and reconnaissance UAV, 1 UAV (type to be determined), and 2 Lancet drones.
