Ukraine redeploys aircraft capable of carrying Storm Shadow missiles every 24 hours - Bild

There are a small number of them in the Armed Forces

The Ukrainian Air Force redeploys Su-24 bombers every 24 hours. They are capable of carrying long-range Storm Shadow and SCALP-EG missiles. The redeployment is carried out to protect the aircraft from Russian strikes. There are a small number of them in our country.

Bild writes about this. It is noted that the entire network of USSR airfields has been restored and new ones have been equipped for the relocation to Ukraine. In addition, secret runways on motorways are being used.

To protect operational airfields, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have deployed several IRIS-T and Patriot anti-aircraft systems.

These long-range missiles are used by Ukrainian aviation very successfully, so their storage sites are also under constant protection.

The newspaper writes that Su-24 attacks on bridges, warehouses and command posts of the Russian Federation provoke missile attacks on our country's airfields. In particular, the aggressor country recently attacked Starokostiantyniv in Khmelnytskyi region because tactical aviation is based there.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, on 6 August, the Ukrainian Defence Forces struck two key road bridges along the territories important to Russia, connecting the occupied Crimea and part of the Kherson region. They forced the aggressor to redirect traffic from shorter eastern routes to longer western ones.
