General Christopher Cavoli, Commander of Allied Forces Europe, U.S. Army Europe, has compiled a list of weapons possessed by the United States that could help Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression. These are the types of weapons and equipment that have not yet been provided to our country.

This was reported by CNN. The list includes, among other things, air-to-ground missiles and a secure communications network used by NATO.

Cavoli outlined a list of US weapons that could help the Ukrainian army fight more effectively in an appendix to a secret report on the Biden administration's strategy for Ukraine. This document was submitted to the US Congress in early September.

The list includes the AGM-158 JASSM, a US air-launched precision-guided cruise missile, and a communications system known as Link 16, a data exchange network used by the US and NATO. It can provide uninterrupted communication between combat systems and is particularly useful for command and control of air and missile defense.

Ukraine has repeatedly made requests for these missiles and communications systems, the media source said.

"Cavoli's list does not say why the US did not provide the systems he believes would be valuable. But U.S. officials have previously expressed concern that sensitive U.S. technology could fall into Russian hands, which one source said was likely due to the delay with the Link 16 system. Air-to-surface missiles launched from fighter jets may be useless to the Ukrainians unless they achieve a certain level of air superiority," the article says.
