Three people were evacuated from Urozhayne in Donetsk region: Kirilenko told details

Heavy fighting continues in the village of Urozhaynoye in Donetsk region. However, the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to enter the territory of the settlement and evacuate three people.

Such a statement was made by the head of the Donetsk regional military administration Pavlo Kirilenko. This was reported by the Donetsk regional military administration.

Kirilenko noted that the village is subjected to heavy shelling by the Russian occupiers. The fighting does not actually stop, so there is no talk of stabilization measures yet.

Before the full-scale invasion, on February 24, 2022, up to five hundred people lived in Urozhayne.

"Since the event of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Urozhayniy, three people have been evacuated before. It is even difficult for me to convey how they could be there, hiding, of course, they were in basements. We are talking about old people," said the head of the Donetsk regional military administration.

Recall, the Ukrainian Defense Forces on August 13 conducted counter-offensive operations on at least two sections of the front and advanced in the area of the western part of Donetsk, eastern - Zaporizhzhya regions, as well as in western Zaporizhzhya. They have moved the occupiers from Urozhayne, but it is likely that those still hold positions at least in the southern part of the locality.
