"They are surrendering their positions without a fight": Prigozhin whines that the situation near Bakhmut is developing according to the worst-case scenario for Russia

The owner of the Wagner terrorist PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, continues to whine about the difficult situation his militants are in near Bakhmut. He said that everything is developing in this area according to the worst-case scenario for Russia.

Prigozhin, who has fallen into disgrace with Russia's top leadership due to his statements, recorded a new audio message and posted it on his Telegram channel. In it, he once again complains about the uncovered flanks of the Russian army in the epicentre of the fighting in eastern Ukraine - the Bakhmut direction.

The owner of the Wagner PMC said that the Russians were surrendering the territory near Bakhmut "almost without a fight".

"The situation on the flanks is developing according to the worst-case scenario. The territories that were taken by the blood and lives of our comrades-in-arms for many months, every day, passing tens or hundreds of metres, are now being abandoned without a fight by those who are supposed to hold our flanks," Prigozhin said.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, the Kremlin perceived Prigozhin's statements about the situation at the front and his criticism of the Russian Defence Ministry as a "serious threat". Russian dictator Vladimir Putin's entourage regarded Prigozhin's words as crossing a "red line" and even want to declare him an "enemy of Russia".

The Institute for the Study of War reported that Prigozhin had fallen into a "trap" with his statements about Bakhmut, and now the Wagner PMC is in big trouble.
