There are almost no intact houses left in Krynky as the enemy wants to knock out the AFU at all costs
The Russian occupiers are making every effort to drive the Ukrainian military out of the left bank of the Kherson region. They are intensively shelling the village of Krynky, where the Ukrainian foothold is located.
Due to the barbaric shelling and bombardment, there is not a single intact house left in the village. This was reported by Natalia Humeniuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, during a TV marathon.
"Our combat work to consolidate and expand the bridgehead continues there (in the Krynky area - Ed.), and the enemy is trying to drive our units out. There are virtually no intact buildings there, and artillery is working from both sides. In addition, the enemy has been bombarding the area very heavily," she noted.
Currently, the Russian command has deployed about 10 thousand occupants to the Krynky area.
Due to the constant shelling and bombing, as well as the invaders' incessant attempts to storm the positions of Ukrainian soldiers, the Defense Forces are calling on locals to leave the area of active hostilities.
As a reminder, Bild reported on the losses of the Russian army and noted that the Ukrainian bridgehead in Krynky, which is no more than a square kilometer in size, has become a "trap" for Russian troops. However, the occupation command is not aware of this and continues to send more and more convoys of equipment there.
According to the expert's estimates, during the defense of this village on the left bank of the Dnipro River, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 153 pieces of Russian equipment, including 19 tanks, 58 armored personnel carriers, 35 army trucks, 12 MLRS and six self-propelled artillery systems. Ukraine lost 31 pieces of equipment, 16 of which were artillery systems.
