"The enemy will experiment": Ihnat tells whether Shaheds can fly at 400 km

So far, the enemy has not used Shaheds at a speed of 400 km at the front

The spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force Command, Yuriy Ihnat, said that so far they have not encountered Shaheds at 400 km at the front. However, he noted that the enemy will continue to experiment and manufacture jet engines.

Ihnat said this on the air of the "United News" telethon. Currently, the occupiers are launchingShaheeds across the territory of Ukraine, which can reach speeds of 100 km.

"So far we have not seen any Shaheds with a speed of 400 km," the spokesman said.

Ignatiy also said that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has launched 4,637 UAVs across Ukraine.

"So far, we have seen Shaheds at a steady speed, from 100 km and beyond. The fact that the enemy will experiment and produce jet engines, as far as it is rational, has already been discussed. In fact, the cost will increase and the combat part will decrease, it will actually become a missile," said the spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force Command.

He added that the Russians will probably continue to use conventional internal combustion engines for the Shahed, which still remains a difficult target for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

As we reported, the Air Defense Forces destroyed eight Shahed kamikaze drones in the Ukrainian sky on the night of February 22. The enemy used a total of 10 such drones for attacks.

Earlier it was reported that Russia may be preparing a massive miss ile attack on February 24. The occupiers have a manic tendency to carry out certain acts of terror on certain dates. This was the case on New Year's Eve, and such a threat may be present on February 24, a fetish date for the leadership of the aggressor country.
