"The enemy has no strategic successes": Syrsky tells about the situation in the Kupiansk sector

Currently, the Kupiansk direction is one of the most tense along the entire front line, but the enemy has not yet achieved any strategic victories. However, the occupants aim to recapture Kupiansk.

This was stated by the Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel General Oleksandr Syrsky. At the same time, the Ukrainian military are bravely holding the line and repelling the attacks of the Russian occupiers.

"The enemy has no strategic success in the Kupiansk sector. The goal of the Russians is clear - they want to occupy the city again.

The defense forces are giving a worthy rebuff to the Russian occupiers, thwarting their attempts to advance," said Syrsky.

Earlier, Colonel-General Syrsky showed the consequences of the occupiers' "demilitarization" in the Kupiansk sector. The occupation forces tried to attack the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in large groups. However, the invaders did not succeed, and moreover, they suffered significant losses in armored vehicles.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, two Russian tanks in the Kupiansk sector exploded on mines laid by the occupiers themselves. A kamikaze drone of Ukrainian defenders from the State Border Guard Service finished off the damaged military equipment. Reportedly, it was a T-72.
