Russian troops staged a combined attack on Zaporizhzhia: a series of explosions was heard
Russian occupation troops launched a massive missile attack on the Zaporizhzhia region on the night of Sunday, August 6. A series of explosions in the suburbs of the regional center was heard.
According to monitoring channels, the occupants used several types of weapons at once, including S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems, operational-tactical missile systems and multiple rocket launchers.
An unidentified anti-aircraft missile system was located north of occupied Melitopol, while S-300 SAMs were located near Tokmak. The occupants fired Smerch or Tornado MLRS from there as well.
"The most massive shelling of the Zaporizhzhia district in a long time," monitoring channels noted.
Two UAV reconnaissance UAVs of Russian troops were spotted over the Zaporizhzhia district at that time.

Sea-based Kalibr cruise missiles were launched from the waters of the Black Sea, supersonic air-launched Kinzhal missiles from the territory of Russia and land-based Iskander ballistic missiles from the territory of Belarus.
