Russian troops staged a combined attack on Zaporizhzhia: a series of explosions was heard
Russian occupation troops launched a massive missile attack on the Zaporizhzhia region on the night of Sunday, August 6. A series of explosions in the suburbs of the regional center was heard.
Local channels reported on this, The Air Force of the AFU warned about the threat of the use of ballistic weapons by the enemy and urged the residents of Zaporizhzhia to go to a shelter promptly.
According to monitoring channels, the occupants used several types of weapons at once, including S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems, operational-tactical missile systems and multiple rocket launchers.
An unidentified anti-aircraft missile system was located north of occupied Melitopol, while S-300 SAMs were located near Tokmak. The occupants fired Smerch or Tornado MLRS from there as well.
"The most massive shelling of the Zaporizhzhia district in a long time," monitoring channels noted.
Two UAV reconnaissance UAVs of Russian troops were spotted over the Zaporizhzhia district at that time.
