Russian troops attacked Konotop with a missile: a multi-story building damaged, there are victims
During a missile attack on Ukraine on the morning of December 29, Russian troops struck Konotop in the Sumy region. A multi-story building was damaged and several people were injured.
Information on the consequences of the attack is still being clarified. This was reported by the Regional Military Administration.
"Early this morning, Russian terrorists committed another crime against civilians. The enemy has launched a missile attack on Konotop," the agency said.
As of 07:00, it is known that three people were injured as a result of the Russian shelling.
A high-rise building and a car service station were damaged in the town, and a car caught fire.
All specialized services are working at the site of the enemy missile hit. Information on the damage and casualties is being updated.
"Be careful and do not ignore air raid alarms," the Sumy Regional Military Administration said.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, during the attack on December 21, the Russian occupiers tried to strike the Sumy region with Shahed drones. The air defense system in the region did not let it happen: the defenders of the sky shot down two kamikaze drones.
