Russian occupiers lack workers for the seized port in Berdiansk
The Russian occupiers have turned the seized port of Berdiansk into a "restricted facility" that can only be accessed with the permission of the Russian FSB. It is used to export looted grain and transport military cargo, but the invaders are sorely lacking workers as there are few collaborators in the region.
This was reported by the National Resistance Center on May 18. "Although the enemy has temporarily seized the territory of Ukraine, it does not control these lands and remains nothing but an occupier there," the statement said.
The National Resistance Center added that the aggressor country Russia always brings death, poverty and propaganda. After the seizure of the Ukrainian ports of Crimea, Mariupol or Berdiansk, they immediately lost cargo turnover and stopped working.
Now these ports are used only as military facilities and for looting.
In particular, in Berdiansk, the port exports only looted grain and transports military cargo, although the occupation administration solemnly declares its restoration, the NRC noted.
According to it, the Berdiansk port is "barely alive" and there is a catastrophic shortage of workers as it can only be accessed with the permission of the Russian FSB due to the fact that it is a "restricted facility."
The special services of the occupying country do not trust most of the locals, and there are too few collaborators in Zaporizhzhia, the NRC says.
"As a result, the port continues to die, and the humanitarian crisis in the city continues, which the Russians are using for their own purposes," the statement said.
