Russian command tortures its own soldiers who disobey orders in Kherson region, throwing them into pits - ATESH

Russian command throws soldiers who refuse to storm islands on the Dnipro into pits

The command of the Russian occupation army is torturing its own soldiers who refuse to obey orders and do not want to participate in assaults on the left bank of the Kherson region. This is the case, in particular, with the 61st Separate Guards Naval Infantry Brigade.

This was reported by ATESH, a military and guerrilla movement created by Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars, in their Telegram channel. According to an agent from the 61st Separate Mechanized Brigade, the situation in the unit has deteriorated sharply.

"According to him, commanders of both officer and sergeant units began to torture all soldiers who refuse to obey suicidal orders," the report said.

In December last year, several occupants who refused to participate in a poorly organized assault on one of the Dnipro islands in Kherson region were thrown into a pit. The Russians were kept there for three days without water and food, and then sent to another assault. These invaders died, their bodies were never evacuated, and they are considered missing.

ATESH reports that Russian army commanders arу using physical violence as a tool of pressure, including threats, beatings and same pits, more and more often.

"Previously, such measures were taken only for serious offenses, but now soldiers are punished even for the slightest reason. They understand that if a commander is not happy with you, you will not last long," the guerrillas say.

As reported, there are serious ethnic conflicts reported between the occupiers in the 70th Guards Rifle Division of the Russian army, which is fighting against Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia region. The confrontation is between Russians and representatives of the Caucasian peoples.
