Russia launched 17 drones overnight in Ukraine: Air Defense Forces shot down 13 Shaheds, the rest did not reach their targets either

The defenders of Ukraine's skies repulsed another Russian air attack

On the night of July 3, Russia's occupation forces carried out a massive air attack on Ukraine using 17 Shahed-136/131 strike drones. By air defense forces and means in the sky over different regions, our defenders shot down 13 Shaheds, while the rest also failed to reach their targets.

The enemy launched them from the south-eastern direction, trying to hit the infrastructure of the regions. About the repulsion of the attack reported in the Air Force of the AFU.

It is noted that the defenders of the sky worked in the southern, eastern and central regions.

"Destroyed 13 drones. The rest did not reach their targets. Preliminarily, no losses," the message said.

The military added that in the past and this day, the aviation of the Ukrainian Air Force committed dozens of aircraft, of which 15 were to fire on objects, equipment, logistics and manpower of the enemy.

"Today, July 3, we congratulate the anti-aircraft missile forces of the Air Force and once again thank the defenders of the sky for their combat work! Together - to victory!" - noted in the AFU.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, on the night of July 2, Russia attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles, air defense worked on enemy targets in Mykolaiv and Zaporizhzhya. The sky defenders also shot down all Russian drones flying towards Kyiv.

In total, the air defense forces destroyed all 11 enemy targets in the sky over Ukraine. These are eight Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs and three Kalibr cruise missiles.
