Russia deploys about 100,000 soldiers to the Lyman-Kupiansk direction: AFU is prepared

The Russian invaders do not give up hope of regaining control of Kupiansk. Thus, they have deployed 100,000 soldiers to the Lyman-Kupyansk direction of the Kharkiv region. However, the Defense Forces have been actively preparing for an intensified phase of hostilities, with the military building appropriate defenses throughout October.
This was stated by Lieutenant Colonel Volodymyr Fitio, Head of the Public Relations Service of the Land Forces Command, on the air of the UA Razom TV marathon. He emphasized that this area is the most tense one.
"The enemy shelled our positions 613 times over the last day in the Lyman-Kupiansk direction. Nine air strikes and 17 direct engagements took place. At the same time, 194 Russian occupants were eliminated. The enemy did not achieve any strategic success here," the military summarized.
Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi is a strategic railroad junction in this direction. The occupants are trying to capture it and strike at the crossings, at all objects that can cut off Ukrainian defenders from Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, last week was extremely tense for Ukrainian defenders in the Lyman-Kupiansk direction. The enemy intends to break through the Ukrainian defense line, making numerous attacks, using aircraft, drones, and artillery.
By the way, a similar situation was observed in the Kharkiv region in August. However, back then, the Armed Forces of Ukraine effectively repelled all attacks by 100,000 enemy soldiers.
