Russia attacked Ukraine with six Shahed drones at night: air defense forces shot down one target

The Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shot down one of the six Shahed-type kamikaze drones that Russia was using to attack our regions. The attack began in the evening of January 23 and lasted about four hours.

The enemy UAVs moved through the southern regions to the center and north of the country. The first data on the repulsion of the air attack was provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Yesterday, the Russian occupants conducted another air strike using six Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. The Ukrainian air defense forces and means destroyed one enemy drone," the statement said.

It should be noted that the air raid alert due to the enemy's launch of drones began on Tuesday at 19:45 and lasted until 29:30. Kamikaze drones were seen flying on the border of the Donetsk and Dnipro regions, from Kherson to Mykolaiv, and from there towards Kropyvnytskyi. They were also observed in Kharkiv and the Cherkasy region heading towards the Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions.
