Russia attacked Odesa region with Shahed drones again, explosions were heard: first details

The occupiers launched a new attack on the Odesa region

The aggressor country Russia launched another attack on Ukraine with kamikaze drones on Wednesday night of September 6. Odesa region was under attack again, explosions were heard there.

The Air Force of the AFU wrote about the movement of Russian drones in the direction of the south of the Odesa region. Residents of the Izmail district were urged to stay in shelters. Monitoring channels informed about the work of Air Defense forces.

"Izmail district residents, please stay in shelters until the air alert is canceled! This is very important! Do not film or post the work of Air Defense online," the head of Odesa RMA Oleh Kiper wrote.

According to preliminary information, some ofthe drones were shot down. However, several of them reached their targets. Official data on the consequences of the attack will be provided by the RMA and the AF of the AFU.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, Russia staged a massive attack on the south of the Odesa region of Ukraine with kamikaze drones on the night of September 4. Air Defense Forces shot down 17 attack UAVs, but some of them hit civilian infrastructure.
