Russian troops, who attacked Ukraine on the night of October 5 with drones en masse, once again faced the main obstacle, the Air Defense Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Our troops shot down 24 enemy drones out of 29.
The footage of the brilliant work throughout the night was posted by the Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, on his Telegram channel. He thanked his soldiers for the skilled work they showed when they destroyed combat UAVs (to watch the video, scroll to the bottom of the page).
Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shoot down drones
On October 5, the Ukrainian military repelled a massive Russian attack, which was once again carried out with the use of Shahed attack UAVs. 24 out of 29 enemy targets were destroyed.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, on the night of October 2, Air Defense Forces shot down four out of seven drones. Most of the drones were destroyed in the Dnipropetrovsk region. However, civilian infrastructure in the Kherson region was hit.
