Occupiers shelled Kherson region, killing an elderly woman

On the night of August 26, Russian troops shelled residential houses in the Olhivka settlement in Kherson Region. As a result of the shelling, an 83-year-old woman suffered multiple burns.

The victim was hospitalized, but the injuries were too severe: the woman died in hospital. This was reported by the head of the Kherson RMA Oleksandr Prokudin.

The Russians shelled the Olhivka village in the Beryslav district of the Kherson region in the middle of the night. As usual, they aimed at residential houses, killing an elderly woman.

"The occupants shelled Olhivka at night. Residential houses were hit. An 83-year-old woman received numerous burns. She was taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, the injuries were too severe. She died in the hospital," Prokudin noted.

Earlier it became known that the occupiers attacked Ukraine with Iranian kamikaze drones again on the evening of August 25.

Two drones were spotted in the sky. Both were destroyed by Air Defense Forces over the Kharkiv region.
