Move over, Trump: Polish Foreign Minister explains how to end the war in 5 minutes
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin can end the war in Ukraine in five minutes with a phone call to Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu saying he is withdrawing his troops. But our state cannot do this so easily.
This was stated by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, RMF24 reports. In this way, the official answered the question of Sejm deputies whether Poland has scenarios for resolving the conflict in Ukraine.
"Yes, we do. The restoration of Ukraine's internationally recognized borders, according to the so-called peace formula of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy," he said.
The minister added that Putin could have ended this war in five minutes.
"Unfortunately, Ukraine cannot end it with one phone call, this is a big difference," Sikorski said.
Earlier, former US President Donald Trump said he would have achieved peace in Ukraine in a day. He admitted that he would give Russian President Vladimir Putin the occupied territories.
As reported, Sikorski criticized President Andrzej Duda for his words that the country would be ready to deploy American nuclear weapons on its territory. The minister reminded that the government is responsible for foreign policy in Poland. He stressed that no one had authorized Duda to speak publicly about the nuclear weapons program.
