General Staff: occupiers in Kherson region are panicing due to desertion, alcoholism and drug addiction of conscripts
Panic sentiments and an increase in desertions are being reported within the ranks of the Russian occupation forces again. Russians who have just been mobilized for the war are hiding in their homes, resorting to drinking and drug use.
Now it occurred in Hornostaivka in the Kakhovsky district of the Kherson region. This was reported by the General Staff of the AFU.
It is noted that military patrols and servicemen of the commandant's office of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are making rounds of each house to find fugitives in the settlement.
It is done because of the behavior of conscripts. The number of not only deserters but also persons consuming alcoholic beverages and narcotic substances has significantly increased among newly arrived servicemen of the Russian army who are in the settlement and its vicinity.
"The occupants leave the places of service and try to hide in abandoned buildings", the General staff explained.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, a Russian military shot fellow countrymen. Two residents of Chuvashia, who came to the city with a "volunteer mission", were killed in temporarily occupied Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia. A Russian blogger said that women and alcohol were to blame.
A Russian commander who came to fight against Ukraine complained about occupants from Chuvashia drinking alcohol. He hinted that his subordinates had not long to live.
