On the afternoon of 17 August, smoke was spotted near the port of occupied Berdiansk. Local media, citing eyewitnesses, reported that the fire broke out near the village of Azovske in the Berdiansk district.
According to preliminary information, smoke is visible in the fields outside the city. At the same time, according to local residents, no explosions were heard.
