Two enemy drones are destroyed

OnSeptember 24, the Ukrainian Air Force shot down two enemy drones in Zaporizhzhia region. It is reported that the enemy UAVs were destroyed by a fighter jet at 14:30.

This was reported on the Facebook page of the East Air Command. The enemy drones were preliminarily identified as ZALA and Orlan.

"As of 14:30, a fighter jet destroyed 2 enemy UAVs, which were preliminarily identified as ZALA and Orlan, in Zaporizhzhia region," the statement said.

No further details have been disclosed.

Earlier it was reported that the Defense Forces continue to displace Russian troops and liberate the occupied lands in southern Ukraine. In particular, the Armed Forces are conducting active offensives in the Melitopol sector, exhausting the enemy, who is forced to retreat from their positions.

As a reminder, the Armed Forces of Ukraine broke through the main line of Russian defense near Robotyno. Very heavy fighting is currently taking place there. According to the Wall Street Journal, Ukrainian armored vehicles were able to break through the main line of defense of the Russian army near the village of Verbove for the first time during the counteroffensive.
