Fedorov: occupiers take Ukrainian children to military camps to teach them how to "love the motherland"

The occupiers stole more than 200 children from the occupied territories and handed them over to Russian families

Invaders continue to terrorize Ukrainian children and take them to Russia from the temporarily occupied territories. At least 200 children from the Zaporizhzhya region have been illegally taken out and given into the custody of Russian citizens.

In addition, thousands of Ukrainian children are taken to special camps where they listen to narratives of Russian propaganda and are taught to "love the motherland properly". The mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov spoke about it on the air of a TV marathon Yedyni Novyny.

"Thousands of children are taken to the so-called camps, but these are not the vacation camps that we are used to. These are camps where our children are taught how to operate UAVs and listen to some fictional stories. Even gauleiters say that the reason for taking children out is to teach them to love the motherland properly, so children are just brainwashed," Fedorov said.

Juvenile prosecutors confirmed the deaths of 500 Ukrainian children due to a full-scale Russian invasion as of the morning of August 13, 2023. More than 1097 minors were injured of varying degrees of severity.

As OBOZREVATEL wrote, the Russian occupiers decided to improve the demographic structure of their state by kidnapping people from Ukraine. This is especially true for children, given that Moscow has broad plans to inculcate the younger generation with the Great Russian chauvinistic ideology as the adult population, which has already formed its worldview, is less subject to Kremlin zombification.
