Explosions in the Cherkasy region: first details

On the evening of June 8, explosions occurred in the Cherkasy region. An air raid alert has been declared in the region.
This was reported by Suspilne Cherkasy. Local residents were urged to take shelter. Telegram channels are reporting on missiles flying over the region and air defence operations.
To recap: On June 8, the occupiers opened fire on Kherson and Kherson district during the evacuation of civilians from flooded settlements after the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station. There are wounded. One death was reported, but this information has not been confirmed. The flooded area of the town of Korabel, through which the evacuation is taking place, was also hit.
Also on June 7, the town of Ukrainsk in Donetsk region was shelled with artillery. War criminals killed three civilians - two adults and one child. Four children and one adult were also injured. The victims were taken to hospital. Two private houses and 14 multi-storey buildings were damaged in the town as a result of Russian shelling.

- the day before, Russian troops attacked the Kharkiv region of Ukraine. Chuhuiv district came under enemy fire;
- On June 7, in the morning, the Russian terrorist army also fired at civilians in the Sumy region. The enemy used, among other things, an Iranian-made Shahed kamikaze drone.
