Explosions in Zaporizhzhia: a power facility hit, dozens of residential houses damaged
On the night of June 1, the Russian terrorists launched missiles at Zaporizhzhia. The target of the enemy attack was an energy infrastructure facility.
As a result of the missile strike, destruction was recorded in the city. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov on Telegram.
According to him, in addition to energy infrastructure, civilian facilities in Zaporizhzhia were also damaged. In particular, more than 20 residential buildings and social institutions were damaged.
At the same time, the RMA head noted that there were no civilian casualties.
"At night, Russians massively attacked Zaporizhzhia. They hit one of the energy infrastructure facilities. There is destruction. More than 20 residential buildings and social institutions were also damaged. People were not injured," Fedorov said.
According to monitoring channels, Russian occupants attacked Zaporizhzhia with cruise and ballistic missiles at night.
As a reminder, on the night of June 1, the terrorist state Russia launched Shahed-136 attack drones and missiles at Ukraine. Air defense systems were activated in Kyiv and Vinnytsia regions during the air raid alert. Enemy missiles were also spotted in Odesa, Poltava, and Dnipro regions, and a missile threat was later announced for the western regions.
Earlier, it was reported that a transformer substation in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv was destroyed by a missile attack on May 31. Some residents of the capital were left without electricity.
