The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate Kyrylo Budanov shared details of a celebratory video published by his agency on the morning of September 7 on the occasion of DIU Day. The video shows the military officer himself sitting in a chair and blowing out candles on a cake with the traditional dreamy look, after which the audience hears a strong explosion.

Budanov did not disclose what exploded this time in Russia, but he shared what wish he made on the air of the national UA Razom TV marathon (to watch the video, scroll to the end of the page).

"Of course, I made a wish for the final, unconditional Victory of Ukraine," the military man said.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, President Zelensky promoted the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine on the occasion of the Day of the DIU. Major General Kyrylo Budanov is now a lieutenant general.

The head of state and the head of Ukrainian intelligence appeared in a joint photo near the Russian Mi-8 helicopter. As is known, this helicopter was transferred to Ukraine as a result of the Synytsia Operation.
