On Monday, May 8, the "evacuation" from the town of Kamianka-Dniprovska in the Zaporizhzhia region began. The Russian invaders are taking out mostly children with their parents, teachers and other public sector employees.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Russians are moving to Berdiansk.

"On May 8, the Russian occupiers began taking preschool and school-age children with their parents, as well as teachers and other public sector employees, from the city of Kamianka-Dniprovska, Zaporizhzhia region," the statement said.

According to the General Staff, there were few people willing to leave the city of Kamianka-Dniprovska, despite the "evacuation" launched by the Russian invaders. According to the military, most local residents do not want to leave their homes and the city they consider their homeland.

The evacuation is being carried out to Berdiansk.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, the invaders are winding down the occupation administration in the temporarily occupied Skadovsk. From May 6 to 7, the Russians loaded documentation, office equipment and other property of "state institutions" into vehicles.
