Air defense forces shoot down Shahed over Khmelnytsky region

On the night of November 28, the aggressor country Russia attacked Khmelnytsky region with Shahed drones, among other things. The defenders of the sky practiced on enemy targets: The UAV was shot down, but its wreckage caused damage.

Fortunately, there were no casualties. This was reported by the first deputy head of the Khmelnytsky regional military administration, Serhiy Tyurin.

The morning Russian air attack on the region lasted almost an hour and a half: the alert was announced from 04:42 to 06:07 on Tuesday. The air force warned of enemy kamikaze drones moving toward Starokostiantyniv.

A representative of the regional military administration noted that air defense forces repelled the attack. As a result of the downing of the attack UAV, the debris fell on the roof of a private house in Khmelnytsky district.

No fire broke out at the scene, and no one was injured. All relevant services were working there.

"We thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the reliable defense of the sky over Khmelnytsky region," Tyurin added.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, during the Russian drone attack on Ukraine on November 22, the wreckage of the Shahed caused a fire in Khmelnytsky region. After the drone was shot down in the sky, its remains fell on a non-residential outbuilding - there were no casualties.
